Our task was to create a suite of sites for the MCG group, each with its own identity. The group wide rebrand will future-proof their digital platforms. Recruitment websites carry a unique challenge, based on the nature of their three target audiences; clients, candidates and prospective employees - and their individual user objectives. Our focus was to create a high impact brand across a range of sites, each operating in different sectors. The ultimate objective was to engage users across each target audience, and convert site visitors.
The entire project was highly collaborative, working closely with the MCG group marketing team and using existing brand guidelines. From conception to execution we maintained an open channel of client communication, allowing us to quickly deliver iterations and have good visibility of workflow. Developing on brand guidelines, our design team worked on finalising visual decisions and refining the designs, before the development team began bringing these ideas to life.
CCD Studios developed a suite of sites under the MCG Group, which required design continuity but also individual features related to each sector, such as industry specific icons. We categorised each site logo by colour so whilst we use the same logo, we use a secondary colour to reflect each sector and to differentiate each offering. All the MCG sites have a similar, easy to navigate layout, with clear calls to action, driving users to engage with the site and convert;
The construction site uses a bold orange, a colour often associated with construction and logistics. Split across Trades and Labour, and Profession Staffing, both business units are easily recognisable, with interactive elements such as a job search function.
This site uses a warm yellow theme, a colour associated with positivity - which is particularly pertinent given the nature of the healthcare roles being recruited for. CCD Studios used icons to segment the different healthcare sectors and allow for each navigation; such as nursing, critical care and mental health. Videos bring the site to life, and allow users to interact with the page.
With a focus on aerospace, aviation, construction and interactive technology, MCG International offers consultancy and recruitment services across a range of sectors. The site uses strong imagery to differentiate between industries, showcasing the types of roles they recruit for, as well as services for clients such as RPO and Managed Service Provider capabilities.
Overall, the finished project successfully delivered on the MCG Group brief, in the form of a suite of separate sites with clear brand continuity. Our work will help MCG Group to meet their goals and objectives, attracting talent, clients and prospective employees alike.
