The Briefing

To produce a workforce management platform to provide rostering, availability, digital timesheets, fatigue scoring, risk assessments, pay and charge management and more from a single system. Provide a scalable solution that can management hundreds of thousands of workers across many users.

The Process

CCD designed the solution technical architecture from the server setup through to the database design. Design prototypes were produced to provide a clear idea of the user experience provided. An agile development process was adopted involving many developers, each committing individual development tasks to build the overall solution if a fast, low risk way.

The Result

Signal is now one of the most successful and feature rich products in the Rail industry and is used by Network Rail, Balfour Beatty and other large contractors in addition to Tier 1 labour supply agenices and management companies.
